Ours are about the fishing.
You don't need the full-service treatment or a guide at your side every day. You need someone who's done the homework, who gets you on the right water and shows you how it fishes, then leaves you to fish it your way.
That's what Kalakamu is. Finnish for fishing buddy.
Someone who figured out the important stuff and is taking you along for the ride. I couldn't find these trips anywhere, so I built them.

We only sell what we know. Not scouted from a brochure, not taken on a partner's word. If we haven't stood there ourselves, it doesn't make the list.
Earn it
We don't promise easy fishing. These are wild fish, not stocked ponds. We promise honest fishing: there will be days when you have to work for it.
Keep it simple
A cabin, a river, a box of flies, and enough local knowledge to not waste the first three days. That's the whole product.
